What Do I Need To Know To Help Me Get Through The Holidays?

As the holidays approach, many of us start to feel a huge wave of anxiety creep in. From family members and friends, getting the house ready, and even how we think about ourselves, this can fuel the fire. Let’s talk about how to deal with it.

First of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong with putting yourself first. This past Sunday, I left a funeral because I was uncomfortable, and I protected my energy. You can read about how I did that here.

Don’t worry about what people think about you. I know that is really hard to do, but as time passes, you will feel more comfortable not caring. It’s about self-love, self-care, and self-respect.

The first card concerns the solar plexus and inner light. Keep your light bright and strong. When you start taking responsibility for yourself, you will feel empowered. Claim this power.

The middle card is all about emotions; this one, my friends, is challenging. I don’t know about you, but I am not the type of person to hide my feelings and emotions. If I’m mad, everyone will know it. If I am happy, everyone around me smiles, too. If there is one lesson that I’ve learned over the years, it is not to hide, block, or disguise your emotions. Doing so will create havoc on your chakras, which is how illnesses start. I’m not saying be the loudmouth in the room or that EVERYTHING has to be shared, you should have some pause button and know what to say and when to say it. Keep your throat chakra strong, and it will guide you with your words. Keep your sacral chakra strong, and it will guide you with your emotions.

The last card, Stars, is about your timeline, what’s going to be is going to be. Know that all the experiences in life, all the people you meet, and the conversations you have are meant to happen. These scenarios teach us lessons or enhance our awareness; just let it happen and learn from what you experience.

This is a great message for today! Stand strong and love yourself. Love the people around you the best you can because they are trying to. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and in closing, that god for stretch pants, they are your best friend during the holidays.😂
