I'm Just a Lucid Dreamer

Last night or I should say early this morning; I had an incredible lucid dream. I woke up at 5:00 am and decided to go back to sleep, and from 5-7:00, I traveled to an unknown place in time.

For those who don't know what lucid dreaming is, it's when you are fully aware that you are in a dream and have control over everything in it and how that dream plays out.

I definitely feel like I was on another planet because where I was, it was one big party. It seemed almost like a setting in Japan with a complete mix of all nationalities in one city.

I was in a building that contained several rooms on several floors. In each room, people enjoyed life, attended parties, read, played guitar, cooked, or whatever their hobby was. It was almost like a scene from heaven.

At one point, I took an elevator to another floor, and the elevator turned into a trash compactor and started closing in on me.

My reality check in lucid dreams is not being able to read or use my telephone. Numbers and letters in lucid dreams don't work; the brain cannot comprehend them.

While the walls were caving in on me in this compactor, there was a little label on the side of the wall, and I knew I needed to read it to find out if I was in a lucid dream or not. I looked at it as close as possible, and I could not make out any words or letters; at that point, I knew I was dreaming, and I was safe. At that moment, the compactor doors opened.

The dream continued, and I met so many people from room to room. They were animals there too. I saw an animal that was a cross between a guinea pig and a regular pig; I was not entirely sure what creature it was; I had never seen it before.

The creature was hurt, and I took care of it; I also noticed that it had offspring, which I also cared for.

The overall feeling of his dream was that of love, enjoying life, enjoying people, and being free.

The dream went on for a very long time. I remember even thinking in the dream, OK, I know I'm in a lucid dream, and this is going on forever; I love it!

I woke up this morning with a smile and slept later than I usually did. I knew it was going to be a special day.

When I woke up, I went outside to feed the birds, and the air smelled like almonds.
