How TikTok Connected Me To My Mom On The Other Side

There is nothing I love more than those mediumistic connections. I want to share a story with you of how my mom decided to hang out with me for the day, even though she is now just three months of being on the other side.

Like every day, I spend a little time on TikTok looking for recipes, gardening tips, or to see who’s pulling tarot cards for the message of the day. Yesterday I left the lunch table and went upstairs for a few minutes to visit the reading room. With my phone in hand, the mediumship connection began.

In TikTok, I saw this guy talking about his “dead son” and was a little unsettled by him saying “dead son,” but it is what it is. I like to say “spirit people,” which, to me, sounds more respectful.

He was saying he was constantly getting messages and having conversations with his son, and in those brief TikTok videos of three minutes or less, he received some great advice and answers. I smiled and wanted to see and hear more, so I browsed his other videos.

He had one random video about a goat named Maggie. That made me smile because the goat was cute, and Maggie was the name of my mom’s favorite dog, which flooded me with memories. We all have pets throughout life, but every now and then, there are one or two pets we have had that are just incredibly special for whatever reason, and Maggie was my mom’s special dog.

The goat video was just 60 seconds long, but it filled my heart with love and warmth because it reminded me of my mom and how she loved her dog so much. I left the reading room and continued downstairs to rejoin my family, that was still talking at the lunch table and planned on keeping my thoughts to myself.

I sat down and heard my husband and dad talking about Maggie. My eyes widened, and I asked, “What are you talking about?”

“Mom’s dog Maggie,” my husband said.

“Holy shit! You’ve got to be kidding me!”

My husband and dad were looking at me like, where is this going, and why is Donna freaking out.

I told them about the videos I was watching on TikTok about the guy who was talking about his dead son and then the goat whose name was Maggie. What are the chances that both downstairs and upstairs, we ALL had this Maggie connection? Those chances are incredibly slim … unless the presence of a spirit person is in the house and connecting us all together.

“It’s mom! It’s mom!” I said! She’s here with us! What a remarkable coincidence!”

My dad’s eye started to well up, and my husband just smiled because these spirit connections happen often, and when they do, I embrace them.

I let the energy in the room calm down as we all sat in my mom’s presence. It was a great day, and it was not over yet.

After lunch, hubs and I went ring shopping. My dad wanted to buy me a very special ruby ring for my birthday on July 14th; I’ll be turning the big 6–0. So ring shopping we went.

After hitting 3–4 stores, we wound up in the one store where I always buy my fine jewelry. I found a ring within the first five minutes of being there, and when my eyes hit the sights of that ring, my heart chakra thumped inside my chest. I knew I had found the right one.

While my ring was getting cleaned and processed, we looked at some other beautiful rings in the store. My husband said, “Donna, look at the name of this jewelry collection.”

The little sign in the glass showcase said SYLVIE. My mouth opened, and I was amazed at yet another spirit connection. Sylvie is the name my grandmother called my mom, whose name is Sylvia.

Not only was my mom hanging out with me and probably led me to that one jewelry store, but she was also hanging out with her mom! They were both in the store with me, guiding me until I bought this very special ring from my dad.

Guys, when it comes to these mediumistic connections, you cannot make this stuff up, and you can feel it in your heart when it happens. Look for these little coincidences of names, words, songs, and things that happen to connect you to a passed loved one. They are real connections and occur in the daytime, so you can’t say you dreamt it all. It’s real. It happens, and it’s incredible!
