A Day In The Life Of A Psychic Medium

To start with, I don't wear purple velvet dresses of any kind, nor do I adorn myself with every single beaded or crystal bracelet I own.

I do have some crystal balls that I bought because I think they're cool looking, and on some level, my energy connected to them the second I laid eyes on them.

As far as cards go, I have maybe five decks that I love but mostly use regular playing cards to do readings. I like them because if I'm doing readings in public, people think I'm playing solitaire.

Although I enjoy vegetables, I am not a vegan or a vegetarian. The only meat I will not eat is beef, and I can't stomach milk, but I love me some ice cream!

Meditation comes into play when I remember to do it, maybe 3-4 times a week. I do take mini pauses out during the day to clear my mind and to double-check that my chakras and energy are ok.

Hypersensitivity is a HUGE issue for me; I have to have spidey senses to be able to pick up on specific energies. This is a problem when I go into public places such as bars, restaurants, and stores. Oh, and yes, I do have cocktails in moderation.

I try not to, but I pick up on other people's issues by just looking at them, whether they have pain somewhere, an emotional issue, or an overall scan of who they are. On rare occasions, telepathy comes into play, and that always takes me by surprise.

When I'm super happy, and my vibe is high, I can easily connect to “the other side.” This includes angels and people who have passed. They aren't really “on the other side”; they are closer than we realize. Once we realize that, connecting is much quicker.

My favorite thing to do is look at people's chakra. Being a clairvoyant, I can see colors around people, both outside and inside their bodies. I've done so many chakra readings, and each time, they amaze me. It's like opening up a new box of crayons and being in awe of all the colors.

What still takes me by surprise after all these years is seeing and listening to a spirit person. I'm always humbled by our conversations, and being able to see them is such a joy. It doesn't happen every day, but it happens often enough. It's particularly unsettling to see them on my “off-time” when I'm out with my husband or friends. I can't ignore the taps on my shoulder or the messages I hear from them, especially when they want me to give an important message to their loved ones. I guess when a medium walks into a room, spirit people wish to take advantage of that. I do have an understanding with the spirit world to please try to respect my off-time, but sometimes it's urgent. I signed up for this lifestyle, so I do put up with the occasional inconvenience.

At the end of the day, the spirit world knows that when it's lights out for me, I expect them to respect my wishes, but that is not always the case. Again, these nighttime visits don't happen every day but often enough. I help when I can, and they know I'm here for them. I know my voice is for the spirit world for the rest of my life, and that's a good thing!
