There are MANY ways to ground yourself. You can go for a walk, work in the garden, plant some flowers and my least favorite, close your eyes, and put yourself in the earth. I still can’t figure out for the life of me why people ground IN THE EARTH. I can’t breathe just thinking about that.
See this beautiful teacup of moss? You just grounded yourself. To begin with, I love moss! So for me, this is heaven in a cup. Don't like or don't have moss? You can fill the cup with any plant, grass, or flower of your liking and have the same grounding effect. This is visual grounding.
Visual grounding is using all your senses. Touch the moss feel how it feels. Pick it up and smell it. What thoughts are going through your mind as you look at it? You may not have realized it, but you just used several of your Clairs to ground yourself.
This method is excellent when you can't get outside if the weather is bad or if you need a quick grounding. Not only that, it looks pretty darn amazing, don't you think?
So if you're like me and don't resonate with the grounding method of meditating and going down, down, down, down into the ground, go UP instead and be part of the earth, not IN the earth.
